These hair forks all have 4" prongs. I find this a perfect size for horizontal use. I made several of these for myself in various colours, using heavy gauge galvanized steel fencing wire. I filed and sanded them smooth before painting. They turned out quite well and hold securely! I also make wooden willow hair sticks, singly or in pairs, hand carved and decorated with beads and feathers.
